SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager/Installer to join our dynamic team in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience in cabinet refacing or remodeling, along with strong organizational and leadership skills to manage projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will oversee and execute high-quality installations while ensuring project timelines and customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities:                                                                          
  • Project Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Measure and engineer materials for cabinet refacing with precision.
    • Approve material orders with outstanding attention to detail.
    • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure the timely delivery and execution of each project.
    • Manage project schedules and resources effectively.
    • Conduct site assessments, develop installation plans, and provide estimates.
    • Communicate project progress, changes, and any issues promptly to customers and team members.
    • Supervise and mentor other installation team members.
    • Ensure a collaborative, safety-conscious, and efficient work environment.
    • Manage company vehicles and inventory and ensure necessary materials are available for each job.
  • Installation of Cabinet Refacing:
    • Perform cabinet refacing services, including replacing cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and veneers, while ensuring precision and quality.
    • Protect customer’s floor, countertops and other surfaces as necessary and follow company jobsite guidelines.
    • Ensure all installations meet or exceed company standards and client specifications.
  • Customer Service & Satisfaction:
    • Provide excellent customer service throughout the project.
    • Address any concerns or issues from customers promptly and professionally.
    • Ensure all work meets client expectations and follows safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with cabinet refacing, cabinet installation, or remodeling is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proven experience in project management, including managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve on the job and manage challenges effectively.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, tools, and techniques for cabinet installation and refacing.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
The Project Manager/Installer supports company operations by managing sold projects and ensuring on time and on quality goals are met based on what was determined in the scope of work/contract. The project manager's main duties are to properly manage the fulfillment of all projects.  These are to be performed safely, professionally, and in a timely manner to meet our customer's expectations and provide excellent customer service.
 
Compensation: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
