We remodel kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms in the Greater Orlando area, and we are looking for a part-time cabinet refacer with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our team. We pride ourselves on being a drug-free, family-orientated working environment, and we look forward to working with someone who is dependable, reliable, and professional. 
 
We are looking for someone who has a great attitude, some tools, has a valid driver’s license, and has his own transportation. The ideal candidate will provide cabinet refacing for kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and cabinetry in general. 
 
Since the part-time refacer will be in our clients’ homes, we will run a background check and may periodically request a drug test. 
 
This position offers somewhat flexible hours, depending on the individual jobs.

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The refacer will reface cabinets and vanities, as well as support company operations by performing all tasks at the client’s home/worksite as determined in the scope of work and under the direction of the lead installers, carpenters, and/or supervisor. These duties and necessary functions, whether construction or demolition, are to be performed safely, professionally, and in a timely manner to meet our clients’ expectations, as well as provide excellent customer service.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to:
  1. Work independently or as a team to provide services as laid out in the scope of work by assisting installers, lead installers, and carpenters. Follow instructions given by the supervising lead installer and/or supervisor.
  2. Roll out and put away tools, cords, and materials daily on each work site.
  3. Clean up all areas affected by the installation and perform maintenance on all company tools and equipment used daily on work sites. Ensure all debris is loaded into a dump truck or waste collection unit.
  4. Keep the work area neat and orderly and clean up daily.
  5. Secure and lock up tools, equipment, and site at the end of the workday.
  6. Complete and assist installers, lead installers, carpenters, and/or supervisor(s) in basic tasks such as demo and clean-up.
  7. Secure all equipment and tools in their proper place, and organize them according to foreman instructions, and keep all storage areas and shop clean and orderly.
  8. Complete maintenance on shop vehicles and keep them clean.
  9. Anticipate task problems and inform installers, lead installers, carpenters, and/or supervisor(s) of any issues with completing the task.   
  10. Communicate with the supervising lead installer regularly/daily about the progress on the job
  11. Follow work safety procedures.
  12. Sustain a work environment that builds positive professional relationships and demonstrates excellent customer service by maintaining a positive attitude and consistently demonstrating a commitment to complete the scope of work. 
  13.  Have outstanding work ethics.
  14. Provide a five-star customer experience.
  15. Arrive at the job site on time and wear appropriate work clothing.
  16. Work quickly and efficiently.
  17. Prepare and correctly complete any work documents, timesheets, and correctly code tags to correct jobs. 
 
 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that positively benefit interaction with other team members and homeowners/clients. 
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to plan, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School degree or equivalent and/or one+ experience preferred
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check, including a clean driving record and other pre-employment screening.
  • Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling of materials.
  • Stoop, kneel, and crouch in awkward positions.
  • Able to lift & carry items up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to install any cabinetry hardware such as, but not limited to:
     
    • Drilling for hinges
  •  
    •  Installing doors and drawer fronts
  •  
    • Installing roll-out trays in cabinets
  •  
    • Installing crown molding
  •  
  • Prior experience in cutting moldings.
  •  Additional Skills preferred but not required.
 
OTHER INFORAMTION
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing to participate in a background check.
  • Must be willing to take random drug test when requested.
Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
