JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our preschool is looking to fill a key role as an experienced and passionate Preschool Teacher. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working with children and an aptitude for effectively communicating with them. The successful candidate will also be adept at handling discipline and interacting in a professional manner with parents. The ideal candidate will be creative, enthusiastic and have a passion for teaching preschool children.

Responsibilities:

Establish a schedule for each day.
Stress the importance of a healthy lifestyle to the children.
Help children learn about the world around them through reading, singing, and talking.
Help children learn numbers and words through songs, games, and books.
Teach children how to get along with others by playing games and catching them doing good things.
Be prepared for various situations such as nap time, mealtime, doctor's appointments, and emergencies.
