SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Carpenter supports company operations by performing all tasks at the designated work site as determined in the scope of work. These duties and necessary construction are to be performed safely, professionally, and in a timely manner to meet our customer's expectations and provide excellent customer service.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to:
  1. Work independently or as a team to provide service as laid out in the scope of work.
  2. Collaborates with the customer and team members concerning work orders, drawings, prints, and sketches to understand the customer’s needs.
  3. Estimate equipment, tools, and material requirements for each job.
  4. Operate all tools in a safe manner and use required measurement equipment.
  5. Proficient in the installation of Cabinets, Refacing, Trim, Flooring, and Backsplash …. 
  6. Secure all equipment and tools in their proper place and organized according to the Owner's instructions and keep all storage areas and shop clean and orderly.
  7. Complete maintenance on shop vehicles and keep clean.
  8. Anticipate task problems and inform the Owner of any issues to complete the task. 
  9. Sustains a work environment that builds positive professional relationships and demonstrates excellent customer service. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to complete scope of work. 
  10. Prepares and correctly completes any work documents, timesheets, and correctly code tags to correct job. 
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that positively benefit interaction with other team members and homeowners/clients. 
  • Must be detailed oriented, able to plan, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School degree or equivalent and/or minimum of 1-year experience in a customer service-related industry.
  • Computer skills, with knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs.
  • Able to lift & carry items up to 75 lbs.
  • Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling the handling of materials.
  • Operate and follow all safety procedures using the equipment.
  • Stand or walk for periods of time.
  • Stoop, kneel, and crouch in awkward positions.
